Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
Welcome to Wishbullet. By using this platform you agree to these terms. Please read them — they're written to be understandable, not to bury you in legal language.
1. What Wishbullet Is
Wishbullet is a crowdsourced platform where people submit, vote on, and discuss ideas directed at companies, products, websites, celebrities, politicians, and other public figures and organisations (collectively, "entities"). The goal is to surface what people actually want and hold entities publicly accountable when they act — or don't act — on those ideas.
2. Your Account
You sign in through a third-party social login provider (e.g. Google, GitHub). We don't store passwords. By creating an account you confirm:
- You are at least 13 years old.
- The information associated with your account is accurate and you won't impersonate anyone else.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice if necessary.
3. User-Generated Content
You own the content you submit (ideas, comments, votes). By posting content on Wishbullet you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display, distribute, and reproduce that content as part of operating the platform — for example, showing your idea on an entity's page or in search results.
You are solely responsible for what you post. Don't post anything you don't have the right to post.
4. Entity Pages
Entity pages are created and maintained by the community. Any representative of an entity can claim and verify their page. Verified entities can update their profile, respond to ideas, and update idea statuses — subject to the platform's status protocol (OSP).
We do not guarantee the accuracy of any entity page or status update. Status updates marked "Provisional" are community-submitted and subject to dispute; "Final" status updates have passed a verification or council review process.
5. Prohibited Content and Conduct
The following are not allowed on Wishbullet:
- Spam. Duplicate submissions, coordinated manipulation of votes, or content posted solely for self-promotion.
- Harassment. Content that targets or intimidates specific individuals.
- Defamation. False statements of fact presented as true.
- Impersonation. Pretending to be someone you are not, including entity representatives.
- Illegal content. Anything that violates applicable law, including content that infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights.
- Hate speech. Content that promotes discrimination or violence based on protected characteristics.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these rules and to take action against accounts responsible.
6. Intellectual Property
Respect other people's intellectual property. If you believe content on Wishbullet infringes your copyright or other IP rights, please contact us at hello@wishbullet.com with details and we will investigate.
The Wishbullet name, logo, and platform code are our intellectual property. Don't reproduce or use them without permission.
7. Subscriptions and Payments
Certain features — primarily for verified entities — are available through paid subscriptions. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. By subscribing you agree to their terms as well as these.
- Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you choose).
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued unless required by law.
- We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes take effect at your next billing cycle.
8. Disclaimers
Wishbullet is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no representations about the accuracy or completeness of content posted by users or entities.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wishbullet and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via the platform or by email. Continued use of Wishbullet after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
